Guavirami

Campomanesia obversa y Campomanesia crenata, en el Paraguay conocidos con el nombre guarani de guavirami, especies de arbustos de la familia de las mirtáceas.

Son endémicas del Paraguay oriental.

Tienen frutos en forma de bayas amarillas pardas, dulces, jugosas y frescas.

Son arbustos de porte pequeño a mediano.

Usos

Presenta frutos comestibles.

La cascara seca del fruto es usada para saborizar aguardiente.
